dogs Should I Trust My Veterinarian's Judgment?

Most dog training does not even work.

We get sick and tired of hearing the stories from people about how they enrolled their dog in a group class or took their dog to a behaviorist their veterinarian recommended and:

- Achieved nothing, other than their dog sits in the kitchen for food if there are no distractions present;

- Now have a dog who knows all the commands but refuses to do anything unless there is food present and it gets rewarded with it;

- Their dog does a few commands but still jumps on people, barks incessantly, still chews destructively and is an all around jerk to live with, and despite weeks and weeks of classes basically does not listen;

- Were told that their dog can't be trained and can't attend the classes anymore because the dog is untrained and disruptive to the other dog owners;

- Were told that their dog needs to be destroyed because it is aggressive and can't be trained.
